The story is good, the visuals are good, and the couple has a lot of chemistry. However, I have to say: I’m sick of seeing BDSM used as a coping strategy for everything from child abuse to rape to sexual assault to grief. I’m sorry to ruin it for you all, but the majority of those who belong to the BDSM community chose to do so rather than being compelled to do so by some unconscious force. This is an exception and not the norm. However, since it is more convenient for us to believe that someone is “into this type of sh!t” due to trauma and a mental illness rather than out of pure preference, let’s accept this stereotype rather than accepting the diversity of human sexuality and curiosity. This individual’s expectation that others will take his “pure” purpose seriously is beyond me. Watched for the plot and the cinematography… Definitely my first time having to watch a short on a porn site… yeah borderline porn, but make it artsy. Cinematography was good but thats pretty much it. Aesthetics especially during the headphones scene and childhood bedroom scene were cool… but the rest was uh.. a bit much
