In the story, Sam (Arron Villaflor) is a determined worker and plans everything out. He is at his best in his prime and in a long-term, nearly perfect relationship. Sam could not be happier for the young man because he is doing everything right. However, when his 10-year-old girlfriend turns down his marriage proposal and breaks up with him, all of this changes in a flash.

Sam is devastated and messed up by this incident to the point where he considers ending his life. Sam was so depressed that his friends took him to a beach resort so that he could get away from his problems and stop overthinking them. No amount of sleep or pills could help. He meets Sammy (Christine Bermas), a carefree, outgoing woman who wants to be a food vlogger. Sam and Sammy are opposites, so it will be hard for them to find a common ground in the beginning. However, their experiences with love and broken hearts will make them meet halfway and show them that they have more in common than they thought.

Sammy provides Sam with a Lucky 9 list that she used to move on from her ex. They begin to fall in love as Sammy assists Sam in moving on. Is it Sammy who will finally make Sam forget about his terrible past? Or will she merely serve to teach Sam yet another valuable life lesson?
